Pastor Jeff spent 18 years as a minister of music and fulfilling various other associate pastor roles. As God began to change his call and gift him beyond music ministry, he became the founding pastor of Turning Leaf Church of the Nazarene..
Matt felt a call to ministry his junior year at Millennium High School. He graduated from Arizona Christian University in May of 2012. Matt served as the youth intern for three years before becoming the youth pastor in November of 2011. He loves teens and continues to walk with them as they grow in their faith and in their desire to seek out who God is in their lives.
Cyndi was called into full time ministry the summer of 2001. Working with kids has been a major part of her life since high school. As God directed her, she felt that Children's Ministry is where He wanted to use her. She loves kids of all ages and wants to see them learn about God and develop their relationship with Jesus.
Christine's passion is to help people understand what they believe, why they believe it and how their beliefs impact their lives. She has a Master's of Divinity degree and is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene. She enjoys serving in many different capacities including missions and worship and, birthed out of her own personal experience, she also has a heart for ministry to children with special needs and their families. Christine, her husband Jeff and their two boys enjoy outdoor activities, sports and travel in their free time.
Pastor Tom spent 43 years in full-time ministry, retiring to Phoenix in 2009. He became Connection Pastor at TLC in 2010. He serves joyfully in the area of “Lunch Bunch” (taking new people out to lunch) … visitation … Life Group (facilitator) … helping with hospital visits and being an encourager to all. It is a real joy to serve others.
Cheryl was called to full-time ministry as a young girl at Camp Meeting one summer. She has a passion for prayer, missions and cross-cultural ministry. She is a tactile learner and feels that using your senses to experience God’s truths and promises is a powerful way to remember them and enjoys sharing these illustrations with others.
Marilyn has served as the administrative assistant since August of 2009. It is my pleasure to work with the staff and TLC Community.
Joni started working as an administrative assistant since December of 2012. She is now our Communications Director. She has a heart for teens and college students and walking alongside them as they figure out life and seek Jesus in all they do.
